Welcome to AKA’s Bernedoodles, one of the top breeders of Bernedoodles in Illinois. Our kennel name, AKA, stands for the first letter of each of our daughter's names - Amanda, Katie and Abby. As a family business, everyone right down to the kids and grandkids are involved in the care and training of our Bernedoodle puppies. We take pride in what we do and have been breeding healthy, high quality tri-color Bernedoodles since 2002. Conveniently located in Northern Illinois, our puppies live happily ever after with loving families across the United States, and some travel home to households in cities less than one hour away such as Chicago, Batavia, Naperville, St. Charles. As a family-owned business, we are a breeder of choice time and again based on our vast experience and the high quality of our Bernedoodles. At AKA’s Bernedoodles, we are proud to breed the perfect companion dog for your family by combining Bernese Mountain Dogs with Poodles. About Bernedoodles

At AKA’s Bernedoodles , we have a wealth of knowledge and experience breeding Bernedoodles. Our focus is on breeding healthy dogs with calm temperaments and great conformations. Our tri-color Bernedoodles incorporate the extreme loyalty and easy going nature of the Bernese Mountain Dog with the intelligence and hypoallergenic coats of the Poodles. As hybrids, Bernedoodles can vary in size. Our dogs range between mini, medium and standard. All of our Bernedoodles feature a gorgeous tri-color coat that is truly unique to every dog.

Our Puppies

When you choose AKA’s Bernedoodles as your breeder, you can count on healthy, well-socialized puppies. We work directly with reproductive veterinarians in the Chicago suburbs and in Madison to help with the timing and quality of our litters. As a family business, all of our puppies have interaction with children right from the start to ensure that they loving, family-friendly dogs with calm temperaments. For families that don’t have time to train a puppy, we offer trained Bernedoodle puppies that have been put through our Started Puppy Program.
